Conflict Minerals

Policy

The term conflict minerals describe the four metals tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold that is commonly known as the 3TG. If the mining, supply and trading of these minerals, provide the income to finance any armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or its surrounding countries (DRC countries), they are termed as conflict minerals.

As a member of the ITSCI, AfriMet abides by the rules and regulations to avoid financing conflict, human rights violation and many other risks in our supply chain process.
